Hi, I’m Jess.

I’m a Senior Research Associate at the Centre for the Study of Existential Risk, and a Senior Research Fellow at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence, both at the University of Cambridge.

I’m concerned about the long-term societal impacts of developments in artificial intelligence, and spend most of my time thinking about what we can do today to ensure those impacts are positive.
